Meander Again: Bernard Funston, Guitar-maker

Episode Summary

One of the big themes our of this 2022-23 season is how people have turned to their creativity to enhance their sense of joy. My friend Bernie has been crafting bespoke guitars for more than 20 years; he now does it full time, since he retired a few years ago. in our meander, he talks about his youth in Canada's far North, and on how a feeling of connection to the land and the people of the North are part of his art. It was a true pleasure to reconnect with him and catch-up. This piece was first dropped November 29, 2022.
