One of my favourite writers, Louise and I go quite a way back... to our MA in journalism at the University of Western Ontario some 20 years ago! Between the two of us, we've now birthed six kids, and raised two dogs, she's only had one husband whereas I'm now blissfully married to my second. Through it all we've stayed in loose contact, tracking each other's career and family. It's like that when you meet kindred souls. In this episode, we talk family, close and extended, including some of the lessons we learned from our own parents, and show how our values instinctively guide both our paths.
