The Camino de Santiago, formally known as “The Way of St. James,” refers to the pilgrimage routes to the shrine of the apostle St. James the Great in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. People from all over the world walk these routes every year. Today’s guest, Peggy Hilliard has walked the Camino four times, following a different route each time. She loves the cadence of walking each day, living in each moment, and meeting the people you meet on the way. “It’s a walking mediation.” Peggy’s a big hiker both here in Canada and around the world. We met on my trip this past summer when we hiked the Tour du Mont Blanc in France, Italy and Switzerland. She’s got a lovely spirit and is just a joy to spend time with. I hope you too will enjoy this meander!
