Meanderings with Trudy

Meanderings with Trudy, "The Joy Diet" Chapter 4: Creativity

Episode Summary

"Meanderings with Trudy" is brought to you these days by the letter "P" for Pivot. With Angie away for the rest of this season, I'll be doing these episodes on my own. Honestly, it took me a while to figure out what to do, but this is what I have decided: an on-line book club looking into a book on joy. We're digging into the book "The Joy Diet: 10 Daily Practices for a Happier Life" by sociologist and life coach Martha Beck. Please, join me!

Episode Notes

Creativity is this week’s focus in chapter 4 of “The Joy Diet.” I found this chapter really helpful and I encourage you to grab a pen and a piece of paper so you too can work through the exercises she offers. She doesn’t as much talk about creativity as much as invite you into a few practices that help you explore yours, in relation to the desire you may have articulated in the previous chapter. In today's episode, I show my work and talk about what I learned about taking steps to make my desire a reality.

I hope you’ll enjoy this episode. Please, share my work widely, and give the podcast a review to tease the algorithms. If you have comments or questions, please send them to:  meanderingswithtrudy@gmail.com
