MwT: The Pausecast with Angie Arendt, Enduring

Episode Summary

Welcome back to MwT: The PauseCast with Angie Arendt! The state of the world is unsteady, and this is the background in which this episode happens to fall. And I ask Angie the question: how do we endure? How do we find balance when everything is upsidedown?

Episode Notes

Discerning happiness versus joy is where Angie starts, as we wrestle with these big questions. “But happiness is a short-lived drug when it comes from outside of us,” she reminds us. And we meander from there, landing in a formula of “love is a noun and a verb + begin again + community” as one tonic for getting through these perilous times.
