With the return to Canada of warmer weather, Angie and I felt that visiting the topic of rebirth would suit the lovely month of May. In this episode, we tell stories of our lives, we explore some of what Chaviva told me in an earlier episode about rebirth and ritual in her Jewish faith, and further, we parse the difference interpretations Angie sees in the word “religion.” Oh, and there’s some exploration of the Enneagram too, a shared topic of ours that we both love. We end with a pondering of the state of branded religion, which Angie sees is going through its own rebirth… not just organized religions but governments, large institutions and even people, we’re all going through a process of discombobulation, so we can recombobulate again and be anew once more. And… Angie reminds us that in all this turmoil, in the end, Life can only be fed by love. We are here to love and be loved. One last thing – apologies! Between Angie’s covid, a storm that cut power and internet here for a week, and a short cottage vacation for me, we missed our posting deadline. Hence this late post. We’ll see what next month brings.

The Enneagram Institute, this is the lineage that Angie and I follow. If you’re interested in the enneagram, we invite you to start here.
