Back to basics with storytelling and ritual, and in turn, how they lead to joy. That’s what we meander with this month. Why does story matter? What is ritual and why is it important? As usual, we wrestle with these questions over a cup of coffee and a walk in the forest, and we find our way into grace, joy, blessing, love, communion… and so many other things. I hope you’ll enjoy this space we’re tending, and if you have any comments or thoughts, please send them our way to meanderingswithtrudy@gmail.com. Next month, we explore new beginnings as spring in Canada comes into full swing.
Here are some of the things we referenced in our meander today:
“Embers” by Richard Wagamese
Holy Now by Peter Mayer
“Writing Down the Bones” by Natalie Goldberg
If you’re going to buy the books, please consider buying local to support your neighbourhood booksellers.
