MwT: The PauseCast with Angie Arendt, on US Thanksgiving and more

Episode Summary

Angie tells of her first US thanksgiving spent in Canada, we wrap up our themes so far, and we forecast what we'll have in store for you in the New Year (2023).

Episode Notes

Community and belonging… this is a story about heartbreak, and heart healing. Angie’s first US Thanksgiving here in Canada was not a smooth one and she missed home BIG. To meet her ache, she invited neighbours over and the tradition of pie-palouza came to be. It is a ritual she follows with her Big Stone House community to this day. This story is our way of wrapping up this fall season, weaving together the threads of our meanders to date.

It takes courage to reach out to others, and to respond to a hand outstretched… what does that look like for you? That’s the invitation out of this pause to you – how do you connect to others, and how do you risk showing up? And how do we know when to shift to include something, or someone, new?  As we close, we tip our hand to what’s coming after our break.

Yes, we're taking a break for December and January, to relaunch in February, 2023. We hope you’ll enjoy your holiday season, and rejoin us for more in the New Year. As always, please subscribe, give us a review, share, and if you have comments, drop us a line at meanderingswithtrudy@gmail.com.
